Catalina Island, also called Ikiita Island, is an island that is located in the Caribbean Sea just a few kilometers southeast of La Española Island in the south of the province of La Romana, which is part of the Dominican Republic. From La Romana it takes half an hour to get to Isla Catalina. With an area of 9.6 km², it has many species and tropical birds and the highest point of the island is only 20 meters above sea level.
- Pick up location: Hotel lobby or Mettign Point.
Itinerary:
Pick up at hotels or meeting point approximately 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., after gathering all the clients who are going to Catalina, we leave approximately 8:30 a.m. towards the Roman, arriving approximately 9:40 a.m. to take our catamaran around 10:00 a.m. and we go to Catalina Island systematically making a stop at the corals to do Snorkelling approximately 30 minutes, arriving at the island around 12:30 p.m., where we will have lunch and we will be in Catalina Island two or Approximately three hours, from 2:45 pm to 3:00 pm, we will be boarding back to La Romana to take the bus and finish the tour.
Recommendations:
Eat breakfast early, since lunch is approximately at 1:00 pm.
